Lack of North Sea shipping post March 1940

OK, I'm in the 1st flotilla and keep been given missions in the North sea. After about March 1940 it's not exactly target rich. Most patrols end with nothing sunk or even shot at.


There are some convoys, but these seem suicidal to attack due to jedi like escort ships.


Would you advise I transfer out of the 1st to get more action, or is it a case that after spring 1940 single ships and unescorted convoys vanished?

They don't vanish but as was the historical case, they decrease markedly. In most of the megamods anyway.
