if you mean sitting it out on the ocean floor while they search for you from upstairs then it depends. early war perhaps. later war i think not. if you're sitting it out on the floor then you're not very deep. go to silent running to see what happens...im thinking U123 and Reinhard Hardegen off the US coast during the second 'happy time.':yep:

I tried that but I constantly got damage from sub moving ever so slightly on the ocean floor.
The ocean floor is hard as rock in the game so the sub does not stick to it and just slides away causing damage as it moves.
