It was mentioned here that win 7 will no longer be supported and as a result commander mod will no longer work the way it should. This sad but does anyone have a work around to this fact. Commander is great add on and it is sad that in cases where win 7 is the paltform it will no longer work
help!

Be sure sh3 commander and your sh3 game is installed outside of the programs area. I have mine installed that way and they work fine.

Hi jl
My understanding is Windows is withdrawing it's support for Windows 7 in 2020.
What this means is no further security updates will be made available to you and support will end.
Your system including your game as far as how it functions is not affected by this.
Your system being connected to the internet will however be at risk
Microsoft might offer a free update again to Windows 10 which would need to be considered unless you can permanently remove the internet connection when the time comes.

To add to Berbster's information, above:
I recently had my W7 gaming notebook updated to W10 by my local shop. When I asked him how much it would cost for the OS itself, he told me it was a free update from Microsoft. I am in Canada, but I would guess the same would apply in the U.S. and possibly other countries.

Correct. Nothing to worry about. And if it is, there are talented modders. :Kaleun_Thumbs_Up:
