A British man jailed for numerous sex crimes against Malaysian children has been found stabbed to death in prison.
Richard Huckle, 33, from Ashford, Kent, abused as many as 200 children.
In 2016, he was given 22 life sentences after admitting 71 charges of sex abuse of children aged between six months and 12 years, between 2006 and 2014.
It is understood he was attacked on Sunday in his cell at Full Sutton Prison, near York, with what was described as a makeshift knife.

I don't thinks so and my comment was meant in a sarcastic context.
My heart bleeds for him. . . . NOT!! :Kaleun_Applaud::Kaleun_Salute:
If he committed his crimes against Malaysians, presumably in Malaysia, why was he in an English clink?

Good question, a one which had me look a little further into the case. It would appear the Malaysian authorities weren't aware of the crimes that had been taking place over a number of years.
The British authorities weren't aware either until they received a tip off from the Australian authorities and an investigation after he was arrested entering back into the UK uncovered a large catalogue of evidence on his laptop that he intended to publish onto the dark side of the web.
There still remains controversy over claims of elitism by the British and Australian authorities who some believe were formed on the grounds that it was believed the Malaysian authorities would not have the skills to deal with the matter appropriately.
That is certainly not the opinion I support.
A little story about a law in Sweden who became a sort of a elasticated law.
For years the law was frustrated, because they couldn't do anything against men who traveled to Asia to commit those type of crime.
Then in the middle or was it in the end of the 90's The government change this law so it became a elasticated law.
In other words this law(can't remember which § it is) now is valid all around the world.

bottom line: "the wages of sin is death" meets..." O happy dagger, here is thy sheath!"
I read that he had in his possession an encrypted file which might contain the identities of more victims and even other perpetrators. Investigators had hoped they could one day coax information out of him that would allow them to decrypt the file. Now that he is dead, there is little chance of that happening.
Who cares about a dead filthy pervert.
That is certainly not the opinion I support.
I see what you mean. Maybe the Malaysians might not have the surveillance state necessary to uncover this guy but they darn sure would know what to do with him once they found out. Of course I guess in the end he paid the same penalty.

Me too thinks I recall the case. When he was sent in, I wondered how long he would last before leaving again, and with feet first.
No loss.

UPDATE:
Man arrested over murder of paedophile Richard Huckle
A man has been arrested on suspicion of the murder of Richard Huckle - one of Britain's worst paedophiles.
Huckle, 33, was fatally stabbed in his cell at HMP Full Sutton in Yorkshire with a makeshift blade last October, according to reports.
He targeted impoverished children in Malaysia - bragging online that it was easier than abusing kids from wealthy Western backgrounds.
The freelance photographer, from Ashford in Kent, awarded himself "pedopoints" for different acts of abuse against 191 youngsters, selling images on the dark web.
"A 29-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the death of a man at HMP Full Sutton on 13 October 2019," Humberside Police said.
"A file has been submitted to the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) and we are awaiting their decision regarding charges."
Huckle was finally arrested at Gatwick Airport en route to spend Christmas with his family in 2014, after the UK had been tipped off by authorities in Australia.
Officers later recovered more than 20,000 indecent pictures and videos from his encrypted laptop, although there were other files they were unable to crack.
At the time of his arrest, he was writing a guide to teach fellow paedophiles how to abuse children and avoid detection.
