Hi All, Just upraded to a gaming laptop, installed fresh copy of SH5, and TWoS. All is going well except for this on my load screen (image link below) anyone seen this before?

It was definitely a new one on me, and with a new machine and GPU I was indeed lost as to what the culprit might be. But, you know how it is for those of us that love this game.....like a girlfriend all of our friends tell us is no good, we chase after her anyway even though she is fickle, and will only have things her way we love her all the more!
Well, in the end the only answer was to re-install the game and TWoS again.
I do appreciate your stopping in and asking tho.

My pleasure, the members of this excellent forum always come through in the end even if sometimes it takes weeks for an experienced Kaleun to drop in.
You must love this game to play it correctly. I am computer literate fortunately but I sometimes wonder how say your average person who loves the idea of SH5 manage to get it running the way it should with WOS and Options file editor and then the other one where you can change the colours on the maps to make them more readable.

It's probably some kind of write protection restriction or a administrative rights problem. Try to reinstall the game on a different HDD location and use full administration rights...

Rwearjr, can you please tell what driver version you are using for your 1660 Ti card?

Mowgli, it has been some time past now,(over a year) but the issue was I was using the driver with the card which was preinstalled on my laptop (Dell G3)
Once I downloaded the latest version from NVidia, problem solved.
