I have no idea how they make money off this, seems like the amount of equipment being misused and abused would bankrupt Rockefeller.

There are more electric scooters than people in Pacific Beach, a crowded neighborhood in San Diego known for its bars, surf, attractive college students, and increasingly unaffordable rent. Scooters from Lime, Bird, Lyft, Uber, and Razor are parked along the main path. People can even rent tiny electric bikes from a company called Wheels.
Together, two men run an operation called ScootScoop. They say that they have impounded thousands of dockless e-scooters around San Diego on behalf of business owners and landlords who are fed up with the deluge of dockless two-wheelers.
The comments are gold :haha:
Where I am in Ohio, these things are insane. Drunk people will fly by at 1-2 in the morning down the sidewalks almost hitting people and just laughing hysterically when they almost do or when they scrape against things.
Let me tell you about my weekend in Atlanta. I walk out of a restaurant and almost get plowed by someone going 15 MPH. Instead of hitting me, he hit his female rider, also on a scooter and both then hit a parked car. Now I make it to my car, and the scooters are weaving in and out of traffic ignoring all traffic lights. They are actually going faster than the flow of traffic because, well it’s Atlanta. They are menace. I don’t see how anyone can be a proponent for them without regulations.
