First Iron Man campaign

Ahoi!

I´m new to this forum, but I´ve been a fan of this game since my childhood.
But this is the first time I´m playing it in Iron Man mode(no reloading when dead,85% reality because I have started playing it properly six months ago+GWX 3.0 and Sh3 commander). It´s currently the end of sep.1939,my 3rd patrol and I have sunk big freighter(10.615 BRT).

So I have a question: How was your first Iron Man campaign?

Always play as such. Most recent, had a good career but on the seventh patrol had to abandon ship and was captured. 1940 - 1941.

I've never heard it called 'Iron Man'. We usually call it Dead Is Dead, or just DID. I've played that way ever since my Silent Service days back in the '80s. Of course I didn't know there was any other way to play those games.

Ah,now I know why I haven`t found very much about that in German forums,
because there it is only called "Iron Man",as much I know.
