AN124-100

Hello all. Today I was invited to tour a AN124-100. Some of you know I transport relief supplies for FEMA. I used the AN124-100 in the past two years for various relief efforts around the globe. I captured video of the nose opening and the ramp extending. It is interesting as the nose gear collapses allowing the ramp to sit at different angles. I spoke with the pilot and crew. Great guys. Sat in the cockpit.

This was kind of ironic. It is a Navy patch for logistics. It was attached to the folding door at the tail of a Russian aircraft.

rather than using paint or etchings, unit decals such as the one you found on that aircraft were often procured for just one purpose. To let them know we were there.
