Joao Gilberto deceased. His influence on and importance for Latin, Brazilian and Bossanova and Samba music can hardly be overestimated. The musical fruits of his cooperation with Stan Getz are legend. Probabaly the best ambassador to the world that Brazil has had in the past 60 years.
What he was, returns to Earth. His music however stays friendly with the living :salute:.
A beautifullly sounding language, btw, this Brazilian version of Portuguese.

If you like this music and are new to it, Paolo and Tom Jobim and Astrud Gilberto are another great names to look out for.
