You might also consider the Fifi Compilation for OM+OMEGU (http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?p=2604453#post2604453) add-on, which goes on top of OM705, OM705-720, OMPatch5, OMEGU300 & OMEGU300Patch7. Fifi is currently working on re-doing the submarines, which he has several "teasers" on the last couple of pages of his thread. Very nice looking stuff that he is doing... :salute:

In terms of installing the stock game before OM, etc. mods, am I correct in this order:
- SH4
- Ubisoft SH4 patch 1.4
Then the OM, etc. mods ?

Disregard this too; I have 1.0 of SH4, so I installed 1.4 and then 1.5. Now, I'll install OM, etc.
Yes you need SH4 + UBM add on to run OM :yep:
(UBM = U-Boat Missions)
When installing OM+OMEGU as in Lurker thread, make sure all mods have the correct path (mod/data) because OMEGU for instance has mods inside...
Make sure to install and activate the 4GB patch!

Thanks, installing now including your work. I've followed the install patch on your mods first page. Is the 4GB patch the one at here at the downloads section, for SH4 ?
Don’t Remember if it was inside OMEGU or elsewhere, but you can get it here for 64 bit machines: http://www.ntcore.com/4gb_patch.php
I have installed also the LAA application (Large Adress Aware) linked to my SH4.exe
With both, i don’t have any memory issue!
(Dunno where you can get it, but i’m Sure somebody will tell you)

Thanks again. I've installed the one here at subsim. Game is loading now, so we'll see.

Game/campaign loaded fine. Looks great, I'll dive into later when more time.
Here you have all the info necessary for SH4 (Large Adress Aware etc)

Look in the "MilkCow.mis" file, and there are several "WPXXXXX" groups, with the X being digits. Quite a few of the other "named" groups are also "wolf packs". They consist of various AI subs, but generally the VIIA. I never have looked into whether they would follow a "Contact Report" from the player, but I don't know why they wouldn't. I also have not looked to see if they shoot torpedoes, or not, but that would be easy enough to add. I do not remember which of lurker's AI subs is "submerged", but there is one, and it can move through the water. Lots of potential. Not much documentation from lurker. :salute:

Good info. and points, thanks. I had also forgot about Sergbuto's wolfpack mod from long ago.
I might try adding that or the NYGM version when I get a chance.

The SH3 version will not work in SH4, unfortunately.

Of course it wouldn't; common sense. Busy doing other things right now, and I fail at multi-tasking.
Thanks for the info.

I'll get into an "SH3 one day SH4 the next SH5 the next", kind of cycle every once in a while, and I really shouldn't... I have always gotten confused too easily, and now that I'm older - a real senior citizen - wow! :timeout: :har: - what were we talking about anyway?... :salute:
