Crew position change

Greetings!
This is an embarrassing question to ask, because years ago, I knew the answer....but it's been over two years since I last did any file changes, and I'm having to relearn everything....
How do you change the position of certain crew members in the Control Room/Conning Tower? I want to move the Helmsman from the Control Room to the same position in the Conning Tower....I also want to move the "Player" closer to the attack periscope. My memory needs to be refreshed....Thanks for any help!

welcome back.
go to the Crew Management screen (typically F7). Click on the crewman and drag him to an open slot. if there is a crewman already in that slot, they will swap locations.

Don't know about moving a character from the control room to the conning tower, but I did manage to change the viewpoint in both, and move the guy at the chart table down so he was out of sight and I could stand where he was.
