Yes, SH4 will run just fine under Win 7. And of course, the rest of your computer setup will have some bearing also. You know where to come if you need any help, right. :D :salute:

As Subron said, it runs just fine on Win7. I run it with Win7 Pro, 64 bit.

Just don't install it in the default folder! Create a new folder - I use D:Games\Ubisoft\Silent_Hunter_IV. You can make it whatever you like, but if you let it go to the Program Files or Program Files (X86) windows will make life difficult for you. Also, be sure and run Large Address Aware so the game will be able to use more than the 2Gb of memory it thinks is enough (it's not).

There are lots of good mods in the Download section - I like the FOTRSU myself.
