I did a few searches but no luck. The closest with the 8 pointed maltese cross, disk and wreath that I could find is Royal Dutch but I couldn't find any with crossed rifles and it is missing a crown on the top which the Dutch awars all have.
What if anything is on the back?

Any info on the country it came from? That would help with narrowing it down since may nations used that design.
Medals, at least national ones are usually chock full of heralds and other meaningful parts. This one has an 8 pointed Maltese cross, the symbol of the Order of St. John mainly but like Kptlt. Neuerburg said many countries use that symbol. The crossed rifles and wreath are generic symbols. The center disk is also very plain. The inscription "I. FI. 1934" doesn't bring up any hits either. I am quite intrigued! Thanks for posting.
The closest I could find was a Spanish Cross. :hmmm:
But after 2hrs I gave up!!

There are other medals, I'll try to post, but two have the same markings, but have Oberpleis under the I. F1 beside the date, but I find nothing on it searching.

Those do indeed look like target shooting medals. Shooting clubs here in Germany hand those out to their members. They have no official meaning as far as I know and just represent that a shooter has scored well (not sure if there are any real criteria to be met). Oberpleis is a city at the Rhine river so that would fit as well.
If you put the German term "schützenmedaillien" (target shooter medals) in a search engine you'll get fairly similar results:https://duckduckgo.com/?q=sch%C3%BCtzenmedaillen&t=h_&iax=images&ia=images
And here for "Schützenorden" (which means the same):https://duckduckgo.com/?q=sch%C3%BCtzenorden&t=h_&iar=images&iax=images&ia=images
