While I do not reject the use of armed force to fight back poachers in Africa, arming criminal, murderous militias and private armies with weapons and technology that they could use in their own wars as well, is completely off limits.
Not to mention that it is a serious overstepping of their mandate, and the national and international laws.
If this story proves to be right, heads at the WWF top must roll, and the organisation itself, not being caught by scandal for the first time, must be dramatically changed and controlled, if not dismantled.
Never was a too big fan of them anyway. I always smelled a dubious, manipulative odor around them (though nothing like reported now...). Just cannot stand them, my instinct rebels.
If true, heads must roll, people must be brought to the courts, and sentenced off for years and years.
Such organisations, like Greenpeace as well, maybe are doomed to need success to get power to influence things, but while becoming that powerful they must become commercial and by that get corrupted themselves by what they fight against. I was a Greenpeace sympathiser when i was young, but with every year I grew older, I became more alienated and ultimately turned somewhat hostile against them.
