Not to be out done by PM Theresa May or President Donald Trump, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau tries to keep up. A major scandal is brewing for our boy prince.

Former Canadian Attorney General Jody Wilson-Raybould testified before the House Justice Committee alleging that Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and others in his administration pressured her in “inappropriate” ways to reach a settlement with an engineering company that has been charged with crimes.

In January, Wilson-Raybould was relieved of her duties as attorney general and given a lesser cabinet position. Then this month, she suddenly stepped down from the cabinet entirely. Also stepping down was Gerald Butts, a long time Trudeau political adviser heavily involved with Lavalin situation.

Oh oh indeed. Jody Wilson-Raybould was highly touted by Trudeau for Canada's top lawyer as a woman and as a First Nations descendant. After her 'demotion', (Trudeau called it a Cabinet shuffle) from Minister of Justice and Attorney General to Veterans Affairs she resigned from the Cabinet a month later.

Justin Trudeau is often viewed in both Canada and The United States as a kind of anti-Trump. Young, nice looking, liberal, the son of a former prime minister, and sufficiently woke in all the right ways, he has a hero status for some. It is remarkable that all of a sudden it is Trudeau, not Trump, who may be taken down by corruption.

The next Canadian federal election has to be before October 21 2019. Should be interesting.

Pff You know where the corruption and all evil comes from, it's always another country, and mostly the south-neighbouring one.
So man up and build a wall along the US border :O:

:har: Hell man I don't even care.

I will not be sorry to see a change in leadership. Trudeau turned out to be exactly what a lot of people feared. Big streak of 'woke' authoritarianism.

To a lady asking a question at a townhall meeting....."we don't say mankind, we say people kind." What a jerk. I would have thrown something at him. Maybe a shoe. :D

Not quite. :D

A second high ranking cabinet minister in Justin Trudeau's government has resigned. Treasury Board President Jane Philpott, resigned her post on Monday. She joins former justice minister and attorney general Jody Wilson-Raybould in departing Trudeau's cabinet.

"Unfortunately, the evidence of efforts by politicians and/or officials to pressure the former attorney general to intervene in the criminal case involving SNC-Lavalin, and the evidence as to the content of those efforts, have raised serious concerns for me. Those concerns have been augmented by the views expressed by my constituents and other Canadians."
