Hi folks,
I've recently been working on a browser based digitisation of the awesome table top game "Captain Sonar". The scope of the project was to initially recreate the original feel and has now become a project of improvement, both on the mechanics and streamlining of the game.
I'm looking for folks who would like to play, both testing and for fun :)
For those unfamiliar, It's a game where two crews of up to 4 hunt each other down in submarines using an assortment of tools like Sonar, Drones, torpedoes, mines, and silent running.
The 4 stations are:
- captain (deals with ordering ship moves and the usage of systems),
- first officer (manages the powering of systems and communicates with the engineer to ensure they can be used when needed)
- engineer (manages the inevitable, but hopefully strategic, breaking of system on the sub)
- radioman (deals with tracking the enemy based on their movements and other information)
Here is a video review of the game by Quintin smith of shut up and sit down.

So, anyone up for playing?
