First mission blues

I just want others opinions as to what to do. I play this game for a while now, and I just reinstalled and restarted my career with the wolves of steel mod. In the first mission after I’ve done everything I needed to Dock in Kiel, I’m just wondering should I end patrol and wait 28 days or should I re-fit and keep going? I’m starting out as the type 7a and just trying to figure out what I should do next.

It’s up to you, but i docked so i get a new mission... hence more points to give to my crew if accomplished.

I want to earn a type 7b as soon as possible, not by mod but by earning it. So I wasn't sure if I should dock, or go out and keep earning points.

You do not want to re-fit on the first mission you need to end the patrol and then you can make any changes before your next mission.
Your upgrade to the VIIB may not come quickly, you need to rack up a decent amount of tonnage first and career promotion points.
