SH3 Commander -- Change Sub #??

Thats the reason I D/L SH3 Commander was to change the sub # (using the *.Txt editor on the patrols.cfg, Log_0.cfg and the Patrols.cfg files never worked -- even when the sub was in port).


How would you do that? I'm not seeing in SH3 Commander the path to amend your U-Boat number.

Don't know about altering files, however at the start of SHIII cmdr when you start a new career, next to the block to choose patrol grid is choose U boat number. Just click on the box and put in your number.

I'm midway thru a career now -- on patrol 3/1942. Can you amend the sub number now midway thru a career or is it only available when you start a new career?

Never tried that-I would wager you need to do it at the start of a new career or maybe you can try to do it in base before your next mission.:Kaleun_Cheers:

Thanks -- but I did figure out how to change the .cfg files and successfully changes the sub number so problem solved now. Will check Commander under different needs later.
