Hi shipmates. Just Joined so thought I would say Hi. Ex Matelot, 24 years. Until I get the have of this comments and messaging thing can anybody help with a problem......Downloaded Fresh SH3 from Stem, then downloaded GWX 3 from Subsim. On installing GWX 3 received error message to the effect that couldn't install because MODs had been detected on SH3....
1. How can this be if I Downloaded / Installed fresh SH3?
2. How Do I check what Mods if any are on my SH3?

Any help would be appreciated.

It is important to run Windows 10 in a compatibility mode as Windows 7.
All application executives should be run as administrators.

couldn't install because MODs had been detected on SH3.GWX comes with it's own mods.
It would seem that possibly you may have installed GWX incorrectly?
Post #9 tutorial no mods enabled will show whether your game is installed correctly.

Hi Shipmates. Thanks for all your responses, however still unable to get past the error message that says I have MODs on my Fresh SH3 Download and can't seem to find any in the program files (mind you don't really know where to look). Bit of a shame but for moment will still plod on with basic SH3.
