Can't get SH3 to run with windows 10

I'm a past avid user of SH3 and found my old DVD and have been trying all day to get it to run and have some odd errors, such as this will only run on a server 2003 Win 98/2000/ME, etc.

Tried to install patch, but since it won't install due to the GameShadow issue and the server I cannot get it to go
Please help

I have SH3 2005 release DVD as you do. When I installed it again under Windows 10 I followed the following instructions to the letter and it worked fine.

Hi Kelly, Thank you for the help. However, when I try to install, the program says that it is unable to do so because the sh3.dll is missing

I checked and the .dll is there but don't know why it is not recognized...
