A 98-year-old man is fighting for his life after he was attacked and robbed in his home.

Peter Gouldstone was found with bruising and a head injury at a house in Evesham Road, in the Bounds Green area of north London, on Tuesday.

His son Simon said he "feared the worst" when he found his beaten father in a "semi-conscious state".

The Met Police described it as a "brutal and senseless" attack. No arrests have been made.

Scum like that ought to be put down, I've got absolutely 0% sympathy for these kind of parasitic sack of entrails and find them undeserving to be allowed to take further part of a society.

Scum does what scum is. Why one has huge debates on whetehr or not still see them as citiezns with full civil rights if caught and imprisoned, is beyond me. You sit in prison for a major crime - you run many of your civil rights void and your citizenship has been suspended.

Saying so just because I read this news and the news on Florida giving prisoners back voting rights just shortly after another.

A good reason to bring back hanging.

I think what makes it doubly worse if that is possible, is the fact he is a WWII veteran and this is the UK week of Remembrance.
