Silent Hunter 3 WAC 5.0 Mod

Hi All,

I have Silent Hunter 3 on Steam and have downloaded GWX Version 3.0 Gold.
I changed my game to run in Windows 7 compatibility and everything on the game looks and works great. I have installed WAC 5.0. The game seemed to install ok. When I go to load a game or tutorial however it won't load and reverts back to the Steam page. I love this game so any help or advise is Greatly appreciated.

I am a bit confused by your post.:06: You said you downloaded GWX Gold...from your post I assume you install it and it work correctly. You next said you installed WAC 5.0..did you uninstall GWX and do a clean install of SH3 then attempt to install WAC which gave you CTD's?

I use the original disk version of SH3...I am not a steam expert and handling SH3 is a bit different with steam. Fortunately, there are a number of folks here with the Steam version that know their stuff and I am sure will help you sort this all out.

Yes, if you use 2 mega mods together on same PC, you should install SH3 multi install, or rename each time your documents/SH3 folder...so your current mod use the right SH3 folder.
