I read that SH5 should be installed as C:\SH5 stand alone folder, but mine goes
C:\Ubisoft\Silent Hunter 5? The Grey Wolves mod wants to install to the C:\Ubisoft\Silent Hunter 5 route? I tried that and got just the basic game when I started it. There are so many links in the forum that I don't know which one to use. Can someone direct me to the link that deals with installing through the steam version.

Thanks.

Mine loaded like yours. I think that's safe. So far so good!

Did you get it to work, or are in the processes of just installing it?

How can that be "safe" ? How can a game with total conversion mod look exactly the same like "stock" game?:)

You should really learn where is the location of your base SH5 game before modding and in case of Steam, it's usually something like C/Program filesx86/Steam/Steamapps ect...:yep:

OK my sh5 loaded into the same folder configuration as lepski. I read his post as it should be loaded as c:/she and he couldn't get it to do that. Same situation for me. I loaded mod twos not gw. Same target location for his mod as mine so I thought it'd be safe for him since it worked out for me.
