Hi,
I would like to share a little video with you. It shows uboats' movements from August 1939 to December 1940. Visualization was made with OpenWebGIS and data comes from uboat.net (I have to praise the great work of Gudmundur Helgason, who is the author of the website).
The visualization is part of my graduation thesis. I have data for whole 1939-1945 period but OpenWebGIS would not let me to import so much (more than 83 thousands daily positions). On the other hand, data is incomplete. For some patrols all positions are available and for other only partial data was preserved.
