Thank you all,
Just having some fun with the M4, such a great addition. I'd thought back in the early days that SH5 was a lost cause, until I found TWoS. It is a little clunky in areas, encountered a save game crash yesterday, but for the most part i'd say it is by far the most enjoyably-complex simulation of commanding a U-boot, so thanks to all involved with that.

The buoy system almost had me run aground, I'd like to know what I'm looking at here, as I initially assumed Red-Right-Returning, Region B; though this only came in post 1950s. In Kiel there are a bunch of green buoys and I kept them on my port-side through bad weather, only to see a large concrete wall hove into view before calling voll zurück.
KptLt Johann.
-edit-
As I make my way further into Kiel; it is poorly nav-aided, I accept as Kaleun I ought to know her back-to-front, yet risked dashing my boat on the rocks a few times. Running without assists, or HUD.
To enter the ports, green on the right, red on the left.
To exit the inverse :salute:

Herr Admiral,
Vielen dank, couldn't find any material to say which was used at the time, seems it has gone with something late in history that is seen as a US standard, as opposed to Region B.
