Help with glitch needed

Hi guys,

I reinstalled SH5 yesterday and I'm having issues with the result. I have TWOS up and running but there are two issues now.
1/ The game loaded in English, but dragging the german file in the TWOS fxed that.
2/ The issue is the report log text in the ship log and in the little screen window. Text is missing from the reports such as the navigation officer's report, I just get the lat long numbers with no description. Same with weather sonar etc.

I've reinstalled the game several times, each time now getting the same result.

Going through the gazillion fixes to accept in the Wolves of Steel setup, I'm wondering if I have ticked one I shouldn't have or if someone has had the issue before.

I just reloaded the TWOS patch onto the game a second time and it has fixed the text issues.
I noticed on the first installment I had to identify the path for SH5 about 9 times. The second installation was just clicking yes to the proposed installed path; perhaps the file was badly loaded first time.

All is well except now despite the Real Navigation switched on, I can see my sub position on the map!:wah::k_confused:

Have you restored the generic patcher snapshot as required?

If so, you should deactivate all mods in TWOS Jsgme, re-activate them (if you have any) and restart a career with the correct settings in the game options.

Could it be that your fix for problem No1 caused 2nd issue?:hmm2:

Check the link "how to report an issue" in my signature. More data and few screenshots could come quite handy in problem diagnostics...:yep:
