SH5...a second try

Hi,
Have not posted in the SH5 of the forum in years. I got pretty frustrated with SH5 for a number of reasons when I got it back in 2012 or 13...eventually uninstalled it and stuck with old faithful SH3.

I came across my SH5 dvd while sorting my study closet. Came here and read about the improvements the community has made and decided to give it another chance. After installing the CD and then trying to activate the game on Uplay got a message saying my CD key was already in use. Chatted to online support at uplay and they could not fix the problem :wah:

I went through the subsim link to Amazon, but the 9.95 dvd is not in stock only the download version. Will the Amazon download version work with mods? Want to be sure before buying.

Don’t know really about Amazon, but the steam version download is working fine.

Thanks....What post I have read over the last few days kept saying stay away from steam.....of course being my typical careless self I did not really look at the dates they were posted. If no one can verify that the Amazon digital download works fine I will give the steam version a shot. I was trying to support Subsim by buying through their link. Guess I could get off my butt and donate to them directly like I have in the past:salute:

Kelly621, I have the Download version from the subsim Amazon link.
Works fine bud, you obviously need to update it via Uplay first.....but all that's in the TWOS install instructions anyway.
