Images indeed can say much more than words.

Either reason solves this, or violence will.

WE. ARE. TOO. MANY.

The world has always been populated by those who have and those who have not and I don't see it changing very soon.

The fuse and the detonator are as long harmless as you keep them far apart. And a nuclear warhead is as long harmless as no critical mass has been acchieved.

Those images are not illustrating a situation that can hold out forever. Too close. Too many. In sight of each other. Pressure rising. Not good.

The rich are the most miserable bunch of people on the planet. They have it all and still they want more as deep down they know they are deeply unhappy. :03:

Well you'd certainly know all about that wouldn't you? :hmmm:

Being rich doesn't bring happiness. But being poor won't make you happy either. Happiness comes from with-in, not the size of a bank acct.

Being wealthy provides options, being poor takes them away.

Money doesn't buy happiness but being poor sucks.

Money doesn't buy happiness but being poor sucks.

However, it does buy a lot of other things.

Money may just be a tool, but as such it can buy you satisfaction. Adress your vital needs. Can buy you relief. Can even buy you happiness, although that will be of temporary nature only.

If you do not beleive it, then try to survive in the civilized world without money. Chances are all you will get that way is unhappiness, and despair.

Never underestimate to have the right tool available for the right task, at the right time.

And please, nobody now trying to adress that clichée once again that you cannot eat gold. Try to eat if you have no "gold". Difficult.

We ought to have as if having nothing, should own things without attachment to them, and without too much love for temporary things - else we face disappointment again sooner or later since we love temporary things then, and what is temporary only cannot last and will leave us again.

Where this is not understood, money possesses even him who claims he despises money. You can be a millionaire and not being owned by things - while you also can refuse money: but only because you are obsessed with it.

Have money, and the degrees of freedom in your life will raise. Have no money, and your degrees of freedom in your life will shrink.
