It is the nature of thought to find its way into action.
I wouldn't mind it if you think about it.

I couldn't. After I posted I looked up some Steven Wright videos on YouTube and spent the next three hours laughing.
Sometimes I'll see someone post a page of his one-liners, without credit, and I always respond with a link to one video or another. It's so much funnier to watch him deliver this stuff rather than reading it.

Steven Wright was always one of my favorite comedians. The dead pan delivery was just as funny as his routine. Maybe the best thing about him is the fact that he doesn't need to use vulgar language and off color humor to be funny. Good stuff.
a number of the the players on Saturday night live were always good too. Eddie Murphy, Billy Crystal, Dan Akroyd, Steve Martin, John Belushi, Martin Short, Gilda Radner.....
Good stuff too.

That might turn out to be the shortest car chase ever.... why not eat all the donuts first then the truck will be much lighter and go faster

No one knows when a robot will approach human intelligence, but I suspect it will be late in the 21st century. Will they be dangerous? Possibly. So I suggest we put a chip in their brain to shut them off if they have murderous thoughts.

Humans aren't as good as we should be in our capacity to empathize with feelings and thoughts of others, be they humans or other animals on Earth. NOT NECESSARILY:O:: On Tuesday, President Trump granted pardons to two turkeys -- Peas and Carrots -- in the White House Rose Garden during an annual ceremony. Just how the Thanksgiving tradition of presidents pardoning poultry began is still a matter of debate.
President Abraham Lincoln is credited as being the first to free a turkey after it was sent to the White House in late 1863. Lincoln’s young son Tad named the turkey Jack, adopted it as a pet and begged his father to spare the bird. Lincoln did, but Jack was intended as a Christmas turkey, not a Thanksgiving one. It was President George H.W. Bush who officially started the turkey pardoning in 1989. As animal rights protesters shouted from behind the White House fence, Bush declared: “Let me assure you, and this fine tom turkey, that he will not end up on anyone’s dinner table, not this guy — he’s granted a presidential pardon as of right now.” BY COMPARISON I AM A HEARTLESS BRUTE; TOMORROW I WILL PRESIDE OVER A THANKSGIVING FEAST...BELCH CONTENTEDLY.... AND EXCLAIM...."PARDON ME!":Kaleun_Salivating: IN MITIGATION: TWO OF MY GUESTS (DAMNED INLAWS) ARE VEGETARIANS AND WE HAVE CATERED TO THEIR CULINARY REQUIREMENTS AS WELL....:yep:

I don't think I hate turkey ... I know I hate turkey ... :o
as a little boy they would always put a slice of turkey on my plate and I was suppose to eat it, but instead I would eat all around it. The dressing, the gravy, the cranberry sauce, the french green beans, the mashed potato's, the yams with marshmallows on it, the little squishy rolls with butter and of course the pumpkin pie afterwards, but not the turkey.
I am the same way today too :yep:

Sometimes when I reflect back on all the beer I drink I feel ashamed. Then I look into the glass and think about the workers in the brewery and all of their hopes & dreams. If I didn't drink this beer, they might be out of work and their dreams would be shattered. Then I say to myself, 'It is better that I drink this beer and let their dreams come true than to be selfish and worry about my liver.'" — Jack Handey

A herd of buffalo can only move as fast as the slowest buffalo, and when the herd is hunted, it is the slowest and weakest ones at the back of the herd that are killed first. This natural selection is good for the herd as a whole, because the general speed and health of the whole herd is maintained or even improved by the regular killing of the weakest members. In much the same way, the human brain can operate only as fast as the slowest brain cells through which the electrical signals pass.
Recent etiological studies have shown that while excessive intake of alcohol kills off brain cells, it attacks the slowest and weakest brain cells first. Thus, regular consumption of spirits helps eliminate the weaker cells, constantly making the brain a faster and more efficient machine. The result of this in-depth study verifies and validates the causal link between all-weekend parties and job-related performance. It also explains why, after a few short years of completing university studies and then getting married and settling down, most professionals cannot keep up with the performance of the new graduates. Only those few that stick to the strict regimen of voracious alcoholic consumption can maintain the intellectual levels that they achieved during their university years.
So, this is a call to arms. As our country is losing its technological edge we should not shudder in our homes. But get back into the bars and pubs and quaff that pint! Your company and your country needs you to be at your peak, and at your best, and you shouldn't deny yourself the career opportunities that you could achieve through excessive alcohol consumption. Take life by the bottle and be all that you can be! And remember a good cold beer will kill those bad, useless brain cells that are slowing you down and it will make the necessary room needed to get the good brain cells up front and at the top ready to perform at their best. So bottoms up, down the hatch, look out brain it's coming fast!

So in effect this is what is happening to our older subsim members ... they are simply moving too slow and have now arrived at the back of the pack.
No way am I going to go back and check on them ... I might be next :o
