SH5 RAOBF Question

Hello everyone! I recently installed the Wolves of Steel mod for SH5 and I'm loving it so far! I am interested in using the RAOBF to make targeting solutions, but I am having some issues. I played through the tutorial, but even with the exact numbers they gave me, I launched a torpedo and totally missed the intended target. I thought this might just be a glitch in the game, but I have tried a few attacks in the actual game, and have once again, missed terribly. Does anyone have any advice on using this instrument effectively during combat? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

Ok I figured out what I did wrong lol. I forgot to set the TDC to match what is in the weapons officer command box. Just nailed a ship perfectly :). Hope this helps anyone else who is having the same problem!

Whoa hang on.
I am new myself. Would you care to elaborate? :)

I never interacted with the WEPS officer as In my case, I do all the RAOBF jazz, write it down and set the TDC. But I had little interaction with what the weapon officer says. I just spin the rulers and hope for the best.
Add in some guestimations too.

Or what were you referring too?

then there is the back of the attack disk that will give you range, and speed and AOB with the first shot of the scope bearing, much easier than the raofob wheell
