SH5 Circumnavigation Range

Are there limits to the global world in SH5 or can I navigate to any destination on any coast or up rivers? Is the Strait of Magellan (southern tip of South America) navigable?

I think there are no navigation limits… but the fuel limitation!
Not sure you could refuel everywhere.

Hmm... given that refueling was a regular function I am somewhat surprised this feature is not in the original simulation or has provoked a mod. Actually, I am terribly ignorant in my present understanding; in fact, I would defer to the fact of if it could have been done it would have been done already. I just thought I would ask.
