Eunice Gayson - the actor who played the first "Bond girl" - has died at the age of 90.

She played Sylvia Trench in 007's 1962 debut, Dr No.

During the filming Ms Gayson helped calm Sean Connery's nerves so he could deliver the spy's most famous catchphrase - giving his name as "Bond, James Bond" - for the first time.

That famous red dress almost did not happen. There was a wardrobe change at the last moment and the only dress they could find was way too big. So wardrobe had to cut the dress down and, during her scenes it was held together with clothes pins!

Oh the glamorous life of actors.
