How to Chnage In-Game date (Not for cheating)

Got home from a patrol, and was damaged, so repair took ~35 days, but I'm switching submarine. Why should I he forced to wait about while they fix my old submarine when I'm just going to immediately switch to another submarine? I could just get in the new submarine and go sink a few thousand tons or something useful while they fix my old sub.

Just want to change the date back 35 days, searched but could not find a quide online, help would be appreciated.

The easiest way is to just use SH3 Commander (http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/downloads.php?do=file&id=4789). One of its many useful functions is to change the Time In Base number to anything you want with the click of a button.
