Dear mates: I´m having a problem with the settings of AA (and AF), with my Nvidia GC in SH4 (with FOTRSU and TMO 2.5). It seems the latest driver doesn´t want to take the settings of the Nvidia Control Panel and/or the Nvidia Inspector. The game doesn't take any of the settings (included fixed FPS). AA with 4x4, doesn't work.

I know I can recharge an old driver (they worked fine when I had it), but the latest driver works very fine with SH5 with high FPS and I would to conserve it.

Any suggestion or solution for this problem? Really the graphics of SH4 without antialiasing are horrendous.

My resolution: 1920x1080.

Many thanks in advance!

Did the nVidia driver maybe overwrite a portion of DirectX v9c? Can you still use the Windows Control Panel "Display" and see if that matches the nVidia control?

I am not familiar enough with AA and AF to help much. I do know that I could mess things up bad with my old ATI card if I adjusted things, but I do not recall the old settings, but I do know that it did not have 4x4 AA... :salute:

No problems with DirectX9. TWoS needs it and works very fine. Nvidia panel and Inspector match.
I think is the latest Nvidia driver. It doesn't like something in SH4. BTW SH3 works.

Many thanks!

That's different... :har:

I wonder if THEBERBSTER has any ideas? I'm sure you've seen these last few posts in the nVidia thread:

Not the newest driver though. Other than using the LCD display monitor's "Native" resolution and matching that with Windows Display settings (usually labeled as "Default..."), and matching that in the game, full-screen, I am basically lost with nVidia "tweaks". If cdrsubron7 or max-peck comes along, I am reasonably certain they have some newer nVidia gear. s7rikeback might also (ATI??)... but surely someone will come along with some good advice... :salute:
