The book Jane's Fighting Ships of WWI is $70 on Amazon. I think war game creators need to think outside the box, and imagine the "other" uses for some of their content to generate more revenue $$$. Imagine a 3D interactive show room for example. Just take the models out of Norm Koger's Naval titles or the aircraft models out of Rise of Flight for example. I bet you could, with little more effort, create a product that you could sell to modelers, historians, table top gamers, schools, etc.
I first had that thought when "Wings with Wires" based off "Fighter Squadron Screamin' Demons over Europe" produced a model viewer and released it to the public as a preview for their now defunct WWI flight sim "Birds of Prey".
