missing d3dx9_32.dll

I just installed sh4 and i get this error message:


"The code execution cannot proceed because d3dx9_32.dll was not found. reinstalling the program may fix this".
I reinstalled it twice, once on a different drive and i still got the same error. I am using sh4 gold edition downloaded from amazon. What should i do?

Ahoy I'm not the most savvy computer whiz but when you install silent hunter 4 did you also install the Direct x that came with it? Even though you might have another more recent version already installed you need the direct x that comes with the game. Just a thought hope it helps
