Now, with the increased frequency for some of us of the "Senior Moment", what's the one thing you remember forgetting (if you see what I mean) which caused you the most trouble or embarrassment?
I'm only middle age so I can not comment. :D

I've forgotten more than you'll ever know!
The problem is that I really have forgotten more than...
The older I get the more I forget...
Or so they tell me.

I've heard said as you get older the mind is the second thing to go. Don't bother asking me what the first is 'cause I can't remember.
Oh btw, welcome to Subsim Eichhörnchen. :salute:

Back in '96 I had a meeting with a business associate and had to park in a Council Car Park ( Big multi storey concrete thing ).
After the meeting I went to pick up my car, and low and behold, I couldn't remember where I'd left it.
I searched the whole carpark from top to bottom, and eventually found my car on the bloody roof. How it got there I don't know 'cause I had no memory of parking it there.
Bloody Aliens I reckon.
I started to write but forgot what I was going to say!!

Who are you people? What are you doing in my thread?

The trick is... not letting it look like you lost your car
Who are you people? What are you doing in my thread?
I don't know, are you sure it's your thread? :hmmm:

I forgot my door key after a heavy session at the pub one night. I took off my brand new jeans as the house had just been painted... I was going to have to squeeze in through a side window that I knew how to get open. I was halfway in when the light came on and there was my little old mum in her dressing gown & slippers looking up at me

You as well? :o
Can't remember a situation where I had become forgetful and ending in trouble or embarrassment?
Of course even I have now and then forgot to zip my trousers.
This is not what I fear most.
What I fear most is the day, when I due to problems with my short time memory, forget to unzip my trousers when I have to water my toilet.

My forgetter's getting better,
But my rememberer is broke
To you that may seem funny
But, to me, that is no joke
For when I'm "here" I'm wondering
If I really should be "there"
And, when I try to think it through,
I haven't got a prayer!
Often times I walk into a room,
Say "what am I here for?"
I wrack my brain, but all in vain!
A zero, is my score.
At times I put something away
Where it is safe, but, Gee!
The person it is safest from
Is, generally, me!
When shopping I may see someone,
Say "Hi" and have a chat,
Then, when the person walks away
I think, "now who was that?"
Yes, my forgetter's getting better
While my rememberer is broke,
And it's driving me plumb crazy
And that isn't any joke.
Written by someone I can't remember
Written by someone I can't remember
I expected nothing less.:yep: or is that more??:hmmm:
