The Humboldt Broncos ice hockey team was involved in a deadly crash 15 were killed including players and the coach of the Humboldt Broncos and 14 injured. The crash has left a small farming town in Saskatchewan of fewer than 6,000 people, in grief.

The Junior Hockey team includes players from Edmonton, Slave Lake and Airdrie in Alberta and from Saskatchewan and Manitoba.

Quote : Police say the 14 who survived the crash have varying degrees of injury, some critical. The names of the dead and injured have not been released, but some have been confirmed by family members and others.

The terrible news has hit many very hard, not just in the Hockey world but around the world. Condolences have poured in from around the world including President Trump. NHL commissioner Gary Bettman offered his thoughts as well.

Dayna Brons, the lone woman aboard the Humboldt Broncos' team bus when it collided with a transport truck on April 6, has died.

Family and friends had been waiting anxiously, hoping the 24-year-old athletic therapist would pull through after she suffered serious head trauma. Her aunt, Audrey Hopfner, visited her niece yesterday and felt optimistic that she looked better and would recover.

Instead, on Wednesday afternoon, Hopfner received word her niece had died....
