View Full Version : My Sh3 GWX crashes when I use sonar please help.

When I asked the sonar man for range for the first ship I targeted I go the range but for the second ship When I asked for range the game crashes :wah:

Hi BK when you installed SH3 did you install it outside C:/programe files x86
like in my documents

I made two Folders in my documents WOLF PACK for my GWX install then WOLF HQ for my Commander Mod install
When you install the
Commander Mod it will ask you where your SH3 is installed
also, you will need the Commander Mod Config file so GWX will talk to the Commander Mod

would be a good idea to download the 4gig patch also if you have more than 4gig of ram

Is it MFM V3.3? Yes I did install outside of x86. Why commander though So I have to use it.

Re Commander Mod it would enhance your GWX Game you can manage your Crew add any number of days between days spent in port also allows you to
set wave height to seasonal and manage your crew gives your officers new job qualifications and medals after patrols eg watch officer medic helmsman etc

the merchant fleet mod uses a lot of system resources SH3 only uses 3.5 gig of your system ram so if you have 8 Gig its only using 3.5gig of it unless you install the 4gig patch

I did apply the 4gb patch before I install GWX do I have to do it again?

Yeah,install GWX3.0 over clean SH3 v1.4 ,than 4 gb patch or http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=174225

The game worked with GWX but when I use sonar it doesn't work

So Reinstall SH3 THEN put GWX then 4gb patch.

And which your SO.. Windows 7? Or 10?where you installed SH3?in " Program"folder? Or "Game" folder?

I dont see other reason for problem with sonar
