SH5 load issue

Hi All,

NOTE: RESOLVED had to download another SH5 and ran ccleaner at the end of install. CCleaner found SH5 errors.
After fixing the cc erreors, the SH5 loaded properly.

I have problems when trying to load the SH5 game.

It starts with a small screen in the upper left screen area.
And runs the normal intro, then starts and runs a movie but that is all.
So here is what I've done so far.
STEP 1
Re-loaded win 10 from image.
unsinastalled any SH5 files.
ran ccleaner
ran regedit removed ubisoft launcher / uplay reg entries

Deleted SH5 from documents.

installed SH5 base
re did step 1
installed SH5 1.2 update
tried to run but only gos to movie again.

Another issue is that I can not run a set-up from the ISO, so I copied file from iso and ran setup from there. (this also happenned before reinstall of win10)

Any help or advice would be apprieciated.:Kaleun_Cheers:

Uninstall SH5 from the Control Panels Program and Features you will also be offered the option to delete your save games SH5 folder in your documents.
It is not necessary to uninstall Uplay.
If your install path is C:\Ubisoft\Silent Hunter 5 then delete the SH5 folder.
Run the Ccleaner Analyse program followed by the Registry program.
Reboot your system.
Go to the Ubisoft folder and make a new folder Silent Hunter 5.
Install SH5
Go to the Support folder and select the Gameupdter folder followed by the GU application.
When the game loads and the lady appears press the ESC key.
At the main menu you will see v1.2.0 in the top right hand corner fully updated.
