Another British legend gone

A true legend of British comedy, I had the honour of meeting him in the early eighties when I was billeted in Knotty Ash (yes, the place really does exist) during the Toxteth riots.

Although I wasn't familiar with his work, It's a huge loss when you lose someone who can make you forget the every day struggles of life with humor and make you laugh.
