The first Independent Texas lasted nine years. The second time they made it four years. As a native Texan I too am curious to see what the future holds.

Yea you did, Jim has this American side to himself that takes control of him. He throws his cup of tea into a near by lake and starts drinking coffee and calls chips French fries. There is one downside to this, that is to say British Jim, he just can not get drunk on American beer. :03:

Not too sure about that, Tarjak and I have a few fond drinking memories of our time at the SubSim Meet in Houston, Texas.

One thing to remember about Texas Independence: without it, the western US border would have ended around the Kansas/Colorado. The rest would be Mexico.

Drool! I'd be too cheap to fire a round though, at least until the revolution anyway. :03:

If this is Texas Independence day, why are we still stuck with Texas??? :D

Because Texas is stuck on itself, it clings to whatever comes in contact with it. In some cases it takes years to cure.
