Do you only have kyrillic fonts in your Windows? That may be why. I had the same problem in SH3 with the MawGui widescreen. I have taken the fonts from other mods and it solved it, it was because the modmaker included only kyrillic fonts probably.
You can see the fonts you have in Windows in Start > Systemsteuerung > Darstellung und Anpassung > Schriftarten (fonts)
In the font settings, the first checkbox of the 2 should be TICKED.

Chose 'font settings' in the left panel. You will see 2 checkboxes with a lot of text. The 1st one should be TICKED, the 2nd one unticked.

Ok, reading again I see you have the English version. Then try to set in
Start > System > Language and region settings
Set German or English as region and language. I hope this fixes it...Otherwise: no idea.

I FOUND A SOLUTION! Just went to regional standard and then setup German (austria) like a language for non unicode programs! Thanks everyone for replying

Would it not be cool if we could change the letters of the Enigma Message into Sutterlin script when decoding ?
