The Danner Super Rain Forest looks exactly like the stuff Skinheads and Neo Nazis wear over here.:-?
But that's not the fault of the boot of course, it just struck me while scrolling through the list.

I used to wear Dr Martins boots (winter) and shoes (summer) as a LEO but sadly the boots wear often adopted by skinheads etc.

I love my Chippewas.

We were issued a set in the Army for ski training which I still have.

I'll be wearing these Soviet Remix Mens Boots when I'm out in the cold weather this evening.

When reading the title of the thread, this popped up in my head

"These boots are made for walking"

In my youth I use to walk in boots like those especially during winter

I usually get my boots at thesportsmansguide from the clearance section depending on the reviews, and the availability of "wide" widths, and depending on when free shipping is available. I'm wearing a pretty good pair of Bates right now. I think I paid $40. Boots are the one apparel item I'll splurge a little on, but still try to bargain shop. :03:

If you have really small feet, like 7 and 1/2 or less, you could really do well shopping the clearances at thesportsmansguide.

Bought a pretty nice pair of Justins almost like those $190 boots for around $40 on the guide.

They're kind of on the lower end, but I was introduced to Rocky C4T Trainer boots.

Fantastic light boot. I wear them all over. They provide more support than tennis shoes and are way more comfortable. Plus, my feet are big enough that the boots are lighter than my tennis shoes.

They run like 70$ - 130$-ish depending on color. They're great light boots but don't provide much in the way of safety/protection.
