UNITED NATIONS (Reuters) - The 193-member United Nations General Assembly will hold a rare emergency special session on Thursday at the request of Arab and Muslim states on U.S. President Donald Trump’s decision to recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital, sparking a warning from Washington that it will “take names.”

And still people will insist that what they really hate down there in the ME is "freedom and democracy". :nope:

Wow, invoking UNGA 377, I am not sure how many times that has been used in the past. This is certainly not the first time though.

It is ironic that it was the US that pushed for the resolution to counter Soviet vetos.

Gooses and ganders I guess.

A UN resolution calling on us to change our mind in recognizing fact? How disconcerting!

Is he known for agressive merges and acquisitions?

Hey, don't mess with the man, he's running the country like a business isn't he......:hmmm:Absolutely. He also has extensive experience in Chapter 11 bankruptry proceedings. Those should be useful with his taxation reform and military spending plans. :hmmm:

193 sacks of rice dropping in China.

I only wonder on how far Trumps decision collides with the possible mulling of a resettlement of Palestinian Arabs to the North Sinai that currently seems to be prepared by Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Israel.

You mean fraud, misrepresentation, empty hyperbole, and a high possibility of bankruptcy?...

Yeah, he is running it like one of his businesses...

I hope Trumpet has a lot of paper, cause that's gonna be a long list.

The non-binding resolution was approved by 128 states, with 35 abstaining and nine others voting against.

Until Trump figures out a way to insult or offend them, too... :haha:

I think I may make that into a bumper sticker.

I doubt your average American could even find Nauru on a map. Hell, I doubt the ambassador to Nauru could find it on a map.

Makes me wonder how much money we are sending this imaginary country claiming to be called Nauru?

Wasn't there a book about the place?..."The Chronicles of Nauru"?...

“Jerusalem is our capital, always was, always will be. But I do appreciate the fact that a growing number of countries refuse to participate in this theater of the absurd,”

I appreciate it as well.
