ASW Detection Indicators

Elementary questions regarding the dotted segments/circles around an ASW ship on the navmap, I've been away toooo long.

1. I'm sure the largest circle is the ships maximum visual detection range in optimum conditions?

Less sure of these -

2. Next circle, with a portion missing astern is passive/hydrophones?

3. There's a small semi-circle on the bow - that's ASDIC?

about 1: sometimes you may see them having two full circles. the one will be for their visual sensor and the other for their radar sensor.

2 and 3 are correct
