Black screen

Hi all, so I decided to dig out SH3 after finding LSH and I've installed she and patched to 1.4 but after the intro vid I get music and a black screen, help please, thanks.

What I meant is I haven't got as far as installing LSH yet, I'm getting black screen just trying to load SH3 1.4 to check if it is running before installing LSH as per the install info.

Your screen resolution is set to ?

You need to set 'Synchronization' (or similar name) in the grafics options. Go in the main.cfg and change to:

Synchronized=Yes

I've just done a uninstall and reinstall and patched to 1.4 and the Screen res is 1440X900, and the sync is saying Yes, but still black screen with music.

I'm happy you found the cause and the fix. Some fixes are very specific and need a lot of time to investigate, but generally subsim.com has the solution somewhere :)
