Reinstalling SH5 Question

I'm working up my gumption to try to reinstall Silent Hunter 5 with the Wolves of Steel Mod mega mod.

I seem to remember someone suggesting that I buy a disc of the game and I may be able to avoid some of the Ubisoft or Uplay problems. I bought my game from GamersGate as a digital download. I need Uplay to load my game.

I DO NOT have a Steam copy of the game.

Does anyone know where I can buy a CD or DVD version of Silent Hunter 5?

Save your money mate...Any SH5 version (except steam) will work just fine, if you know how to set it up of course...

Looks good to me and the price.
With the dvd you own something and can see it.
Also IMO easier to install using the custom settings will allow you to have German crew language and install the game on any drive.
