Greetings all

Posted a question elsewhere and forgot that I was supposed to make an introduction here first.

I recently became very interested in subs after getting Cold Waters. I have racked up 150-odd hours in Cold Waters over the past few months and am searching for my next sub sim, maybe something a bit less arcade-y and more visceral.

Full disclosure: I know very little about subs, am still learning. But I have long been a follower of Cold War to present surface ships, particularly Soviet as one must invest a staggering amount of time in research to elucidate their convoluted weapons systems, often hidden behind erroneous NATO names.

But yes, I'm glad that I came across this forum. There seem to be a wealth of knowledgeable people here.

Hello all, I am new too, at least to SH 5 and I am enjoying it to the fullest. This site is truly an eyeopener, and I'm very glad I've found it. This obviously is my first post, as I too forgot to introduce my self. Well, here it is, the blunt facts...I am a 49 year old who loves SH, by far no U-boat worthy Kaleun, an absolute noob, but I will never stop trying. I am from Rotterdam, the Netherlands. Happy hunting, and i'm glad to be aboard.

I'm still trying to find my around. I did subscribe today for a 3 month period ( a donation) yet it seems to not have been registered, although Paypal did. I probably have overlooked something, that happens on a regular basis to me. But it has been a few hours ago.
