Jeff Bezos’ net worth surpasses 100 billion dollars (https://www.theverge.com/2017/11/24/16697520/jeff-bezos-net-worth-100-billion-dollars-amazon)

Man, that's crazy! Lol, shows what one man with a vision can accomplish. Read The Everything Store, he knew where he was going with Amazon 20 years ago, and it's working.

one firm estimates that Amazon may have accounted for half of all online sales for Black Friday. Half.

I went on Amazon yesterday (no, not looking for Black Friday deals, but was shopping on my one day off) and it was rather slow. Maybe they need to split the web into the Internet and the Amazonet....:hmmm:

PS: I am not begrudging Bezos for his gains, more power to him. His wealth does not take away one nickle from me. I'm always a supporter of the American Dream, so his wealth is his business, not mine.

What's really amazing is head honchos in charge of brick and mortar stores keep getting paid to lead their companies into oblivion. They really need to get pot legalized everywhere so Kmart stores can be turned into grow houses. Once that's done then the transition for Sears and J.C. Penny will be easier. :D

Malls might become the happening place once again. lol Uber and Lyft running at all hours to transport baked mall shoppers. lol

No wonder Trump hates his guts; Trump's USD $3.1BN is puny compared to USD $100BN; I guess the old saying is true: "Tiny hands, tiny bank account"... :haha:

Consider what a billion really is: 1,000 million. If you had USD $1BN and you spent USD $1,000,000 per year, it would take you 1,000 years to exhaust your original principal; if you spent USD $10,000,000 per year, it would take you 100 years to exhaust your original principal...

A couple of decades, or so ago, a whole bunch of CEOs form Silicon Valley tech firms had launched one of their periodic assaults on Bill Gates ans MS and it resulted in a Congressional hearing where the CEOs bitched loudly and mightily about Gates and MS; one of the Congress member on the hearing committee was asked for comment following one of the sessions; he responded by saying all the hearing was was bunch of billionaires ticked off because one billionaire had more billions than themselves...
